SEO is the practice of optimising your site in such a way that the search engines recognise your website as relevant to a users search. The search engines wish to provide the user with what they think is the result that will be the most beneficial to that users search.
There are sections of your website that can be amended to ensure that the search engines take note of what that page is all about, at the end of the day if the page you want to your customers to land on does not contain the information or words that accurately describe the subject of that page then the search engines have no way of knowing what your page is about.
In this day and age just mentioning the keywords in the page will not be enough, the content has to appear helpful. Think about what will help the customer once they land on your page. Does the content enable the customer to understand what I offer? Will they be able to interact with the webpage? Will the content of the page want to make the customer make an enquiry about my services?
If you have answered yes to all of the above questions then you are on the right road to the search engines liking the page you want to rank and as a result
bringing it back high up the search engine ranking pages.
